English Goddess Project

We are a collaborative project exploring English Goddesses, blending ancient history and modern spirituality to weave a space where these lesser-known Goddesses may be honoured and recognised.

The English Goddess Project is active and growing, with resources, talks, events, and workshops becoming available as we develop. We have a Wheel of English Goddesses which we are working with in each relevant month, conducting both academic and field research.

This project was borne out of an encounter with the goddess Senuna, which led to the creation of our wheel of goddesses - not necessarily native to England, but honoured in England. (Not Irish, not Scottish, not Welsh, but English!)

Much of modern Celtic paganism focuses reverence to Goddesses of the wider Isles, and those in England craving an indigenous land-based spirituality may look to its further reaches in search of them. Our project aims to support those people to connect with the Goddesses of their specific lands, rivers, and seas.
